Donald Trump sarcastically responded to North Korea’s insults that described him as a “destroyer” who “begged for nuclear war” during his tour of Asia.
The US President has once again taken to Twitter to tell Kim Jong-un that he would “NEVER call him short and fat”.
In one of a series of tweets after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Vietnam, Trump said: “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me ‘old,’ when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat?’ Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!”

North Korea’s state media agency KCNA, accused Donald Trump of escalating tensions between the two countries “to the extremes,” before adding that “no-one can predict when the lunatic old man of the White House, lost to sense, will start a nuclear war”.
Questioned later Sunday about his tweet, Trump insisted that he had not been completely sarcastic about one day befriending Kim.
